WWE Hall Of Famer Bill Goldberg is planning a retirement ‘world tour’, it has been revealed.
It was reported earlier in the year that Goldberg’s WWE contract had expired at the end of 2022, which led to wide speculation on his future within the wrestling industry. AEW’s Tony Khan had previously gone on record to say he was paying attention to the status of the icon.
Goldberg hasn’t wrestled since his loss to Roman Reigns at the Elimination Chamber event in 2022.
During an interview with 93.7 The Ticket, Goldberg revealed he had a handshake agreement with Vince McMahon to have one final retirement match which as yet hasn’t come to fruition.
Goldberg went on to say he’s not satisfied with his WWE run and still believes he can deliver in the ring. He then revealed he’s looking to put on a ‘retirement world tour’ and is wanting to perform in four cities before hanging up his boots.
“Anything and everything is an option and I’m very much so leaning towards promoting it myself and doing a four city world tour. Let the rumor mill start up after that.”
